Better living everyone

The Better Living website was a Satellite initiative to house the suite of Clorox products under one brand online. Showcasing the Glad, Chux, Handy Andy and Mono brands, the Better Living website provides a plethora of household, cleaning and cooking hints and tips related to these products.

From designing the look and feel of the website through to the development and ongoing maintenance and support, Satellite ensures that the Better Living site provides customers with a platform of information to interact with, in a user friendly way.

Whether it’s watching a famous Wendy Meyer videofinding a recipe, learning about food protection and wastage, or exploring hints and tips – this website was designed to be a hub of information to help busy mums (or dads) in their daily lives.

Through the regular use of social media and direct marketing, the website is promoted and utilised as a data driven resource.

Building a community

Ensuring that the Better Living customers are heard and valued, the effective use of Social Media Management has been a mechanic that Satellite manages.

Managing both the Better Living Facebook and Glad NZ Facebook accounts, we produce post copy and imagery; drive user engagement through content and promotions, as well as responding to and listening to customer queries. Satellite ensures that this platform enables a two-way stream of communication, encouraging a conversational relationship between customers.

With over 22,000 followers, the organic reach of the Better Living Facebook page has been in steady growth since it was created in 2013. Most recently Glad created their own page which already has huge customer interest and engagement.
